What we do

Abode Heat help the South West benefit from heat pump and heat battery technology, as an alternative to traditional fossil fuel boilers and direct electric heaters in domestic dwellings and light commercial buildings.

Our design led approach helps customers understand their real heating and hot water requirement that puts them in the best position to invest in the right technical solution to meet current and future heating needs.

We support customer projects in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, West Dorset, West Wiltshire and the Bristol area.

Why we do it

Energy efficiency benefits everyone

We want to improve comfort by helping you heat your home for longer and providing a consistent room temperature.

Reducing energy costs

We want to help you reduce your energy costs. Over 80% of energy demand consumed within a building is to provide heating and hot water (Source: Ofgem). Heating costs have risen by 17% year on year (Source: Uswitch) 550,000 homes in the South West and over 4m nationally do not have access to mains gas which means heating costs are even higher.

Reducing carbon emissions

We want to help you reduce carbon emissions. Our renewable solutions consume less fossil fuel than traditional systems, helping to achieve a low carbon future.
